Warning to any American visitors!

In the UK the word 'pants' is used to describe what you call 'underpants' We do use the term 'underpants' as well but it's not half as funny as saying 'pants'. We use the word 'trousers' when you refer to 'pants' So, every time we watch a Hollywood film over here in Britain, and Kevin Costner points a gun at some other bloke and tells him to remove his 'pants', well you can imagine the distress and anxiety that this causes us and the trepidation of what could possibly be about to happen next! Lady Robbo has had heart palpitations many times on our frequent visits to the Moving Picture Palace, I can tell you. Anyways, to avoid any confusion, on this shopping page the word 'pants' refers to 'underpants' not 'trousers'. Unless, of course, Lady Robbo manages to find a pair of Lord Robbo's old Loon Pants from the early 1970's that we decide to offer for sale. Loon Pants were not hugely flared underpants, although personally I can see the need for such a garment, but were large bell-bottomed trousers that flapped about in the wind and were handy for sweeping the pavements ('sidewalk' to you).
