   Young Ashley McDonald, eldest daughter of Sheila & Peter, is now 19 years of age and no longer takes much interest in her extensive collection of Barbie dolls. ‘Grounded’ more times than a rusty old Boeing 707 she has already amassed 63 convictions for ‘going in a sulk’. 

    Kim McDonald, younger sister of Ashley, is a keen member of the local chapter of the Carnwath Liberation Front. Seen here wearing their distinctive uniform and bandolier she is permanently armed to the teeth and has been implicated on more than one occasion with the muttering of threats to her parents that if “they don’t get off her case regarding the state of her bedroom” they can expect “to find themselves discovered face-down in the local pond”. No conclusive proof has ever been produced to link her with these utterances other than the sworn statement of her sister Ashley who insists that she definitely did say it and that she should be ‘grounded’ as well.

    A rare picture of the reclusive Ian Stuart Robbo and his wife Linda. Older, much much older, brother to Lord Robbo he was last spotted at Robbo Towers in 1985 when he took exception to the fact that there wasn’t enough lager in the fridge to keep his thirst at bay, stormed out to the local pub and has never been seen since. The lovely Linda is reputed to have the patience of a saint and a standing weekly order with Safeway for 6 bottles of Gordon’s Gin.

ROBBO FACT

In the late 18th Century, during the notorious Highland Clearances, young Hector McStupid McRobbo, aged 18, took a wrong turning at Glasgow Cross whilst out shopping for sheep and inadvertently found himself being transported aboard a ship heading for the American colonies. Bewildered and confused he found himself in New England where he fell in love with an Iroquoi sqaw by the name of ‘Little Fat Thighs’. After their marriage he adopted the Red Indian name of ‘Scots Git Lost in the New World’. Settling in to the ‘native’ way of life he was shot dead by a cattle farmer 6 months later who took exception to the way he was brandishing his tomahawk.
