1. 4. 1. Lord & Lady Robbo wait to greet guests to the annual ‘Robbo Towers Gala Dinner and Car Boot Sale’ in aid of destitute Robbo con artists everywhere. This particular event in 1997 raised the grand sum of £12.50 which was spent immediately on hiring a seamstress to lower the hem on Lady Robbo’s dress in time for the following year’s event, thus saving Lord Robbo the expense of purchasing his wife a new outfit. 2. Hong Kong, November 1990. It was only because of our visit that the Chinese insisted that the colony be handed back over to them. Toot de sweet, so to speak. 3. Lord Robbo & Princess Jennifer - Menorca, July 1989. Note the complete lack of a beer belly in those days. Especially Lord Robbo. 4. Lady Robbo & the Princess Jenny Robbo taking a well earned rest at Robbo Villas in Majorca from the daily chores of abusing the servants. 5. ROBBO FACT Did you know that young midshipman Hamish McDougall Robbo was the ship’s piper aboard HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar? When he overheard Nelson, mortally wounded, saying “Kiss me Hardie”, he was heard to snigger uncontrollably and was sentenced to 50 lashes from the cat ‘o nine-tails. Reports suggest that he thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it!
